Ortak İyinin Peşinde; Güncel Dijital Tasarım Sistemlerinde Özgünlük Kavramı Üzerinden Bir Değerlendirme

Öz

Dijital arayüzler günümüzde gündelik pratiklerin önemli bir bileşeni hâline gelmiştir. Mobil uygulamalar, web platformları ve etkileşimli servisler, kullanıcı deneyimini belirleyen temel ürünler konumundadır. Son yıllarda dijital ürün ekosisteminde hız, ölçeklenebilirlik ve tutarlılık gereksinimlerinin artmasıyla birlikte tasarım sistemleri ve modüler arayüz bileşenleri yaygınlaşmıştır. Bu sistemler üretim süreçlerini kolaylaştırırken, küresel ölçekte benzer görsel etkileşim kalıplarının ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuş, arayüz tasarımında özgünlük ve tasarımcı öznelliği gibi kavramların yeniden tartışılmasını gerekli kılmıştır. Bu makale, dijital tasarım sistemlerinin yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte ortaya çıkan homojenleşme eğilimini özgünlük kavramı üzerinden değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada tasarım sistemlerinin verimlilik ve tutarlılık sağlayan yapısı eleştirel bir yaklaşımla incelenmiş, arayüz tasarımında standardizasyon ile yaratıcı çeşitlilik arasındaki gerilim tartışılmıştır. Literatür incelemesi ve güncel tasarım pratikleri üzerinden yürütülen değerlendirme, özgünlük algısının yalnızca benzersiz arayüz elemanları üretmekle sınırlı olmadığını, bunun yanında deneyim perspektifi ile sürdürülebileceğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu bağlamda arayüz tasarımının yalnızca görsel bileşenler üzerinden değil, kullanıcı deneyimi, organizasyonel değerler ve tasarım sistemlerinin ortak düşünme biçimleri üzerinden ele alınması gerektiği savunulmaktadır. Sonuç olarak çalışma, gelecekte tasarımcıların rolünün yalnızca arayüz üretmekten ziyade sistemler arası ilişkileri kuran, kullanıcı deneyimini bütüncül olarak kurgulayan bir tasarım yaklaşımına doğru evrileceğini öne sürmektedir.

In Pursuit of the Common Good; An Evaluation of Contemporary Digital Design Systems Through the Concept of Originality

Öz

Digital interfaces have become a key component of everyday practices. Mobile applications, web platforms, and interactive services play a central role in shaping user experience. In recent years, increasing demands for speed, scalability, and consistency in the digital product ecosystem have led to the widespread use of design systems and modular interface components. While these systems facilitate production, they have also produced similar visual interaction patterns globally, raising concerns about originality and designer subjectivity. This article examines the homogenization tendency associated with the spread of digital design systems through the concept of originality. It critically evaluates the efficiency and consistency oriented structure of these systems and discusses the tension between standardization and creative diversity in interface design. Based on literature and current practices, the study suggests that originality is not limited to creating new interface elements but can be sustained through an experiential perspective. The study argues that interface design should be considered not only through visual components but also through user experience, organizational values, and shared design thinking. It concludes that the role of designers will increasingly shift toward building relationships between systems and shaping holistic user experiences.
