Öz

Mikrosızıntı, diş hekimliğinde gelişen teknolojiye rağmen yapılan her çeşit restorasyonda önemli bir faktör olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu nedenle mikrosızıntının gerek oluşum mekanizmasının, gerekse tespit yöntemlerinin hekim tarafından iyi bilinmesi ve analiz edilmesi gerekmektedir. Literatürde bu konuyla ilgili yapılmış pek çok çalışma vardır ancak mikrosızıntının önüne geçilebildiğini gösteren bir çalışma veya herhangi yeni bir malzeme bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, nedenleri ve dental restorasyonlardaki mikrosızıntıyı araştırmak için kullanılan teknikler anlatılmıştır. Bu tekniklerden yöntemi, kimyasal ajanların kullanılması yöntemi, elektrokimyasal analiz, bakteriyel sızıntı yöntemi, insan serumu sızıntısı yöntemi, basınçlı hava kullanımı, taramalı elektron mikroskop analizi yöntemi, nötron aktivasyon analizi yöntemi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
