Öz

Amaç: Di hekimi korkusunun pek çok bireyde, di sa,l , ilgili önemli problemler yaratmakta oldu,ubildirilmi tir. Çal mam zda fakültemiz periodontoloji klini,ine ba vuran hastalar n ya , cinsiyet ve di hekimine gitme durumlar n n anksiyete üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanm t r.Metot: Çal maya 264 (132 erkek – 132 bayan) hasta dahil edildi. Ya a göre; hastalar 12-15 (102), 1630 (84) ve >30 (78) olmak üzere 3 farkl gruba, dihekimine gelme durumlar na göre; ilk kez di hekimine gelenler (Grup I: 75), önceden periodontal tedavi d nda herhangi bir tedavi görenler (Grup II: 95) ve önceden herhangi bir sebeple periodontal tedavi görenler (Grup III: 94) olmak üzere yine 3 farkl gruba ayr ld . Bireylere Dental Fear Survey anksiyete testi uyguland .Bulgular: Anksiyetenin cinsiyet faktörüyle aras ndaki ili ki önemli bulunmazken (p>0,05), ya durumuyla ili kisi önemli bulunmu tur (p
