Öz

Oral liken planus (OLP) ba l ca deri ve a8 zmukozas n etkileyen kronik enflamatuar bir hastal kt r.Bu durumun nedeni tam olarak aç klanamam olmas na ra8men, altta yatan immunopatolojik mekanizmalarda, etkilenen deri ve mukozal alanlara kronik enflamatuar hücrelerin migrasyonu iyi tan mlanm t r. Son veriler OLP’de oto-reaktif sitotoksik T-hücrelerinin keratinosit apopitozisini tetikledi8ini dü ündürmektedir. OLP en s k hayat n be inci ve alt nc dekat nda ortaya ç kmas na ra8men her ya ta görülebilmektedir. Bu hastal k toplumun %0.5-2’sini etkiler ve en yayg n a8 z mukozas hastal klar ndan birisidir. Özellikle atrofik ve eroziv formu a8r lolabilmektedir
