ANTRAL RETANSİYON KİSTİNİN RADYOLOJİK TESPİTİ; DENTAL VOLÜMETRİK TOMOGRAFİ İLE WATERS POZİSYONUNDA ÇEKİLEN PARANAZAL SİNÜS RADYOGRAMIN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı retansiyon kistinin radyolojik tespitinde dental volümetrik tomografi ile Waters pozisyonunda çekilen paranazal sinüs radyogramı arasındaki uyumu incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamızda dental volümetrik tomografi ve Waters sinüs grafisi kullanılarak 80 hastada maksiller sinüs incelemesi yapıldı. Dental volümetrik tomografi taramalarda ve Waters sinüs grafilerinde retansiyon kist varlığı araştırıldı ve bu metotların tanısal değeri karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Antral retansiyon kisti dental volümetrik tomografi incelemede ise %5,6 olarak tespit edildi. Retansiyon kist tespitinde dental volümetrik tomografi ile Waters bulguları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulundu (X2=9,271; P=0,002). Sonuç: Retansiyon kistlerin radyolojik tespitinde dental volümetrik tomografi, Waters sinüs grafisine göre daha güvenilir bir tekniktir
