Öz

Kondiler hiperplazi, kondil başı ve boynunda boyutsal ve morfolojik değişikliğe neden olan nadir görülen bir anomalidir. Maloklüzyon ve fasiyal asimetri gibi klinik bulgular kondiler hiperplaziyi işaret etse de kesin tanı için radyolojik değerlendirme esastır. Konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografi (Cone Beam Computed Tomography, CBCT) kullanarak yapılan doğrusal ve açısal ölçümler ile maksilla veya diğer kafa-yüz kemiklerinin etkilenip etkilenmediği değerlendirilebilir. Bu makalede, kondiler hiperplazinin teşhis ve değerlendirmesinde CBCT’nin etkinliği iki olgu eşliğinde rapor edilmiştir. Konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı görüntüleme, temporomandibular eklemin kemiksel anomalilerinin teşhisinde düşük radyasyon dozu, yüksek kalitede görüntü ve kapsamlı analizler sağlayan ekonomik bir alternatif sunmaktadır
