Öz
Bu derlemede günümüz diş hekimliğinde kullanılan fiberle güçlendirilmiş kompozit (FRC) sistemler anlatılmıştır. Son yıllarda estetiğe olan ilginin artmasının yanında bazı metal alaşımlarına karşı alerjik ve toksik reaksiyonların gelişme kaygısının artması, hastalar ve diş hekimlerinin metal desteksiz allergic reactions to certain alloys, patients and restorasyonlara daha fazla ilgi göstermelerine yol dentists have been looking for metal free restorations. açmıştır. Günümüzde FRC’ler geliştirilen mekanik ve estetik özellikleri ile daha popüler bir hale gelmiş ve FRC sistemlerin restoratif diş hekimliğinde kullanımları ilk üretildikleri günden bugüne artmıştır
