Öz

Sabit protez yapımında ölçü aşamaları, yumuşak dokuların dikkatli bir şekilde kontrolünü gerektirir. Ölçü maddelerinin, yumuşak dokuları, sıvıları veya artıkları uzaklaştırmadaki yetersizliği uygun yalıtım yöntemini zorunlu kılar. Ayrıca protez bitim çizgisinin açığa çıkarılması için ölçü işlemi sırasında ek uygulamalara gereksinim vardır. Dişeti retraksiyonu, serbest dişeti oluğunun geçici olarak genişletmek ve de serbest dişetinin geçici olarak büzülmesini sağlamak için ölçü işlemi sırasında gerçekleştirilen bir uygulamadır. Prepare dişin net bir ölçüsünün alınması için gereklidir. Bu derlemede, dişeti retraksiyon yöntemlerinin uygulanabilirliği ve güvenilirliği anlatılmıştır
