Malign hastal klar n tedavisinde kemoterapi ve radyoterapi yayg n olarak kullan l r. Bu tedavilerin amac h zla ço8alabilen neoplazik hücreyi ortadan kald rmakt r. Ancak bu tedavi ekilleri oral mukoza dokular n , tükürük bezlerini, orofasiyal kan damarlar nve kemik ili8ini hasara u8ratabilir.
