Öz

Sabit protetik rehabilitasyonda metal destekli porselen restorasyonlar günümüzde yayg n bir ekilde kullan lmaktad r. Porselenin estetik ve biyouyumluluk gibi avantajlar n n yan s ra, k r lgan bir malzeme olmas en büyük dezavantaj d r. Porselen k r 8 nda tedavi seçeneklerinden biri olarak restorasyonun a8 z d tamiri dü ünülse de, bu zaman al c ve pahal bir yöntemdir. Özellikle çok üyeli köprülerde protezin yerinden ç kar lmas s ras nda destek di lerde ve protezde meydana gelebilecek komplikasyonlar, restorasyonun a8 z içi tamirini daha konservatif bir yakla mgetirmektedir. Porselen yap m a8 z içinde gerçekle tirilemedi8inden alternatif tamir materyali olarak kompozitler kullan lmaktad r. Kompozitin, k r lma sonucu aç 8a ç km yüzeye ba ar l bir ekilde ba8lanmas için öncelikle uygun bir yüzey haz rl 8 yap lmal d r. Kompozitin porselen-metal yüzeyine ba8lanmas nda, elmas frezle pürüzlendirme, air abrazyon, asitle pürüzlendirme ve silika kaplama gibi mekanik ba8lanma yöntemleriyle birlikte, silan, metal primer ve bonding gibi kimyasal ajanlar da kullan l r.
