Öz

Sıklıkla hastaların radyografik muayenesi sırasında rastlantı sonucu tespit edilen çift başlı mandibular kondil, kondil başının ikizleşmesi ile karakterizedir. Erkeklerde ve 20 yaş üzeri hastalarda daha sık olarak rastlanılır. Etiyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Çoğunlukla asemptomatiktir. Bu olgu sunumunda, 42 yaşındaki kadın hastadan alınan panoramik radyografta rastlantı sonucu tespit edilen tek taraflı çift başlı mandibular kondilin konik ışınlı bil- gisayarlı tomografi ile değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

BIFID MANDIBULAR CONDYLE

Öz

Double-headed mandibular condyle is often determined examination of patients and is characterized by twinning condylar head. It is more common in men and in patients over the age of 20. Its etiology is unknown. It is mostly asymptomatic. In this case report, it was aimed to evaluate by the cone beam computed tomography a case of one-sided doubleheaded mandibular condyle determined by accident in a panoramic radiograph taken 42-year-old female patient
