Abstract
Absenteeism caused by Health problems and consequent workforce losses is a problem that needs to monitore and to be taken precautions by businesses. This study was conducted to determine the extent of workforce losses caused by health problems, whether there is a difference between different provinces and labor loss affects of organizational performance. For this purpose quantitative data was collected through questionnaire method from 117 participants who are selected by random sampling in Ağrı and Gümüşhane province centers. Participants’ works as mid-level manager or senior managers in public institutions were determined. In this study, descriptive statistical analysis of the data was compared with the provinces, Chi-square tests of independence, regression and correlation analysis and the results were tabulated. As a result of the analysis; it has emerged that health problems cause to workforce losses and cause to negatively affect the other employees and organizational atmosphere and loss of labor that affect the performance of the organization
