The purpose of this research is to determine and evaluate the attitudes of students who received distance accounting education during the COVID-19 period toward the accounting course and distance education. The survey technique was used as a data collection tool in the research. The research sample consists of 62 students who completed the Accounting-2 course via distance education at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. The students answered questions in the questionnaire form about "Technical Support and Course Follow-up", "Lesson Satisfaction", "Self-Efficacy", "Perspective on Distance Education", and "Positive and Negative Aspects of Distance Education".Eight major hypotheses have been developed within the scope of the research. The hypotheses have been tested using the Independent Sample T Test and the ANOVA Test. The study found a significant relationship between gender and the dimensions of "Lesson Satisfaction", "Self-Efficacy", "Perspective on Distance Education", and "Positive Aspects of Distance Education". In all dimensions, there has been no significant difference between students who took the accounting course for the first time and students who took it again. There are significant differences in the averages of the answers given in terms of "Technical Support and Course Follow-up" between students who graduated from Vocational High School and those who graduated from Anatolian High School. In overall, it has been discovered that there is a significant difference between the level of satisfaction with the distance education system and all dimensions (except for the "Negative Aspects of Distance Education").
