Skeletal Class III malocclusions are associated with maxillary retrusion of 40% and are treated by orthopedic treatment in early growth period and orthognathic surgery in late growth period. The aim of this case report is to present results that 13,3 –year-old boy having skeletal and dental Class III malocclusion associated with maxillary retrusion, treated with combination Mc Namara type maxillary expander/Alt-RAMEC protocol and orthopedically forced Class III intermaxillary elastics from mandibular mini screws placed canine regions on the craniofacial structures. It was evaluated respectively effects of orthopedic treatment, fixed orthodontic treatment and retention period of 1 year. Conclusively, it has been determined that this method causes effectively anterior movement of the maxilla in adolescent period.
