AKUT MYOKARD İNFAKTÜŞÜNDE HDL DÜZEYLERİ

In practice, serum HDL cholesterol level measurements are usually postponed to months later after an initial myocardial infarction, This freguentiy causes delay or prevents initiation of patient management programs. In this study total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol of 162 patients with acute myocardial infarction were determined on the day of admission to the coronary care unit. The total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol ratio was found to be higher than normalin 9 50 of the patients.

Serum total kolesterolünde artma, daha da önemlisi HDI, (high density lipoprotein) kolesterolünde azalma, yüksek koroner damar hastalığı (KDH) riski ile birliktedir.
