Bibliometric Analysis of Carbon Border Research Using VOSviewer.

Öz

The European Union (EU) has established the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) with the aim of reducing carbon emissions from production, which have an impact on climate change and global warming, with its industry-focused development approach. The aim of the CBAM is to reduce carbon emissions by providing support to importers and exporters. This study aims to guide researchers who want to conduct studies on the subject, by presenting a comprehensive literature review on CBAM from 1996 to 2024. The data used in this study were obtained from VOSviewer (Visualization of Similarities Viewer) using bibliometric analysis and extended search technique in the Web of Science (WoS). As a result of the analysis, 803 articles related to CBAM were reached. The data includes the publication years of the relevant articles, the number of publications according to their categories, the number of publications by country/region, and the keywords included in the research.

VOSviewer Kullanılarak Sınırda Karbon Araştırmasının Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Avrupa Birliği (AB), sanayi odaklı gelişme anlayışı ile iklim değişikliği ve küresel ısınmaya etkisi olan, üretimde meydana gelen karbon salınımını azaltmaya yönelik Sınırda Karbon Düzenleme Mekanizmasını (SKDM) oluşturmuştur. SKDM ile ithalat ve ihracat destekleri sağlanarak karbon salınımının azaltılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu çalışma, SKDM’ye ilişkin 1996 yılından 2024 yılına kadar olan kapsamlı bir literatür taraması sunarak konuyla ilgili çalışma yapmak isteyen araştırmacılara yol göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmadaki veriler, Bibliyometrik analiz ile Web of Science’da (WoS) yapılan genişletilmiş arama tekniği kullanılarak VOSviewer’dan (Visualization of Similarities Viewer) elde edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda SKDM’yle ilgili 803 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Veriler ilgili makalelerin yayın yıllarını, kategorilerine göre yayın sayısını, ülke/bölge bazlı yayın adetlerini ve araştırmada yer alan anahtar kelimeleri içermektedir.
