Today, the inclusion of women, who are in the human capital factor, in production processes constitutes an important component of sustainable economic growth policies. Developed countries exert policies aimed at ensuring gender equality in working life. The increase in female employment in working life positively affects economic growth by contributing to development levels. Therefore, developing countries create and implement policies to increase women's employment. In this way, they aim to contribute to sustainable economic growth. Public investments perform in line with the objectives of contributing to economic growth and social development. In this respect the aim of this study is to investigate the impact of regional public investment in regional employment of women in Turkey. The impact of regional public investment on regional women employment are examined in 26 sub-regions for agriculture, industry and service sectors for Turkey. Panel regression is estimated using annual variables for the period of 2005-2017. The variables used in the panel regression estimation are the number of women working in agriculture, industry and service sectors and public investment. The findings of this study show that public investment in agriculture, and industry sectors are not impact of on women employment. On the other hand, the service sector is a positive and significant impact of on women employment. The importance of this result is that it clearly demonstrates the role of public investment in the service sector in policies aimed at increasing women's employment.
