Bu çalışma Georgi Gospodinov’un Bahçıvan ve Ölüm (2025) başlıklı eserinin bir incelemesidir. Çalışma, Gospodinov’un bahçe imgesi üzerine inşa edilmiş otobiyografik yas anlatısının yapısal ve tematik bir incelemesini sunar. İncelemenin ana tartışması çocukluk, hafıza ve yas konuları etrafında dönerken, bu inceleme Gospodinov tarafından tasarlanan ve temsil edilen yasın yapısını da kısaca analiz eder.

In Gospodinov’s Garden of Grief: A Review on Death and the Gardener

Öz

This paper is a review on Georgi Gospodinov’s Death and the Gardener. The paper presents a structural and thematic review of Gospodinov’s autobiographical narrative of grief that is built on the image of garden. While the main discussion of the paper revolves around the subjects of childhood, memory, and grieving, the paper also briefly analyses the structure of grief devised and represented by Gospodinov.
