Bu
çalışma, Ankara ili ve ilçelerinde bulunan buğday ve arpa depolarında zarar
yapan böcek türlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla 2011-2012 yıllarında yürütülmüştür.
Bu amaçla Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO) ve özel un fabrikalarına ait silo, loda ve depolardaki açık yığınlardan Eylül
ayından itibaren 8 ay boyunca örnekler alınmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda, Coleoptera takımı Curculionidae,
Tenebrionidae, Bostrichidae, Laemophloeidae, Silvanidae, Dermestidae
familyalarına ve Psocoptera takımı Liposcelididae familyalarına ait toplam 9
tür tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen silo
ve açık yığınların çoğunluğunun zararlılarla bulaşık olduğu ve en yaygın
bulunan türün Liposcelis bostrychophila Badonnel 1931 olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Insect pest species in grain warehouses in Ankara province

This
study was carried out to determine the insect species that cause damage during
wheat and barley storage in Ankara city center and its districts in 2011-2012. For this purpose,
samples were collected during the storage period since September to April. The samples were taken from flourmills, silos, and
warehouses owned either by Turkish Grain Board (TMO) or by private sector. As a
result of the investigation, a total of 9 species were identified belonging to
the Curculionidae, Tenebrionidae, Bostrichidae, Laemophloeidae, Silvanidae,
Dermestidae family of Coleoptera order, and Liposcelididae family of Psocoptera
order. The majority of silos and warehouses sampled were infested with stored
grain pests and the most commonly found species was Liposcelis bostrychophila Badonnel 1931.
