Nematoda species of in the tomato fields in rotation with carrot in Beypazarı (Ankara) district: IV. <em>Coslenchus </em>(Nemata:Tylenchidae) and <em>Safianema </em>(Nemata:Anguinidae).
Abstract
In this study, plant parasitic species of Coslenchus (Nemata:Tylenchidae)and Safianema (Nemata:Anguinidae) in the tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) fields in rotation with carrot in Beypazarı (Ankara) district are examined in considering their two main aspects, namely faunistic and taxonomic. In 1991, during the summer months, when adult Tylenchida species are more abundant, soil and tomato samples were taken, from these samples, nematodes were extracted, prepared and the ones belonging to Coslenchus and Safianema were measured and identified. Identification, synonyms, distribution and habitats of each species are given, as a result of both laboratory studies and literature records. In this study, 2 species belong to Coslenchus and Safianema genus as C.turkeyensis Siddiqi, 1981 and S.lutonense Siddiqi, 1980 were determined. From these S.lutonense Siddiqi, 1980 were the first record for Nematoda fauna of Türkiye.
