Gutenberg-Richter b-value is one of the important parameters used to understand the local seismicity of a region. In this paper, the Gutenberg-Richter b-value map of the Erzincan-Elazığ-Bingöl provinces and its surroundings (38.33○N-39.87○N and 39.19○D-41.58○D) was created. For this purpose, the Gutenberg-Richter (G-R) relationship between the frequency of occurrence and magnitude of earthquakes (Ml>1) between January 01, 2000 and March 14, 2024 was used. Earthquake data were taken from the earthquake catalog of the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute. ZMap software was used in all calculations for the study area. The b-values for the region vary between 0.5 and 1.8. The magnitude of completeness (Mc) was calculated between 1.5-3.2. The lowest b-values (<0.6-0.8) were observed around the Yedisu fault segment located north-east of Erzincan and south-east of the Palu fault segment located between Elazığ and Bingöl. Consequently,it is determined in the study rea that there are high stress accumulation in the upper crust.
