Egzersiz ve Yaşam Kalitesi

Öz

Yaşam kalitesi, fiziksel, duygusal, zihinsel ve ruhsal olmak üzere dört farkındalık seviyesini gerçekleştirmek için insanın ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilme becerisiyle ilgili olan değişen çevre ve durumların özelliklerinin bütünüdür. Egzersiz, fiziksel zindeliği ve genel sağlığı artırıcı ya da koruyucu bedensel aktivite şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı “egzersizin yaşam kalitesini geliştirip geliştirmediğini değerlendirmektir.

Öz

Quality of Life is the totality of features and characteristics of the varying environments and changing conditions/circumstances that bear on the ability to satisfy the human needs for actualization at four levels of awareness: Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual. ‘Exercise' is defined as any bodily activity enhancing or maintaining physical fitness and overall health. The aim of this review article was to assess whether exercise improves quality of life.
