Havlu ve peştamalların tekrarlı yıkamalarında bor içerikli deterjanın yumuşatıcılı ve yumuşatıcısız kullanımının etkilerinin araştırılması

Öz

In this study, the effects of using detergent with boron and softener on repetitive washing of towel and loincloths were investigated. For this aim, two types of towel as light and heavy weight and two types of loincloth as one side piled and non-piled were washed at 10 and 20 cycles by using only ecofriendly detergent with boron and by using both detergent and softener. Then, the weight and density changes, liquid wicking and transfer properties, tear strength and whiteness index values of fabric samples were determined after washing cycles. As a result of the study, it was concluded that detergent with boron can be used for towel and loincloth washing, using both detergent and softener in washing process is more favorable and from the view of water absorbency and drying speed non-piled loincloth product is more practical than others.

Investigation of the effects of using boron detergent with and without softener on repetitive washing of towel and loincloths

Öz

Bu çalışmada, havlu ve peştamalların tekrarlı yıkamalarında bor içerikli deterjan ve yumuşatıcı kullanımının etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, hafif ve ağır gramajlı olmak üzere iki tip havlu ile bir yüzü havlı ve havsız olmak üzere iki tip peştamal kumaş numuneleri sadece çevre dostu bor içerikli deterjan ve hem deterjan hem yumuşatıcı kullanılarak 10 ve 20 tekrarlı olarak yıkanmıştır. Ardından yıkama sonrası kumaş numunelerinin gramaj ve sıklık değişimleri, sıvı emme ve sıvı transfer özellikleri, yırtılma mukavemetleri ve beyazlık indeksleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda bor içerikli deterjanın havlu ve peştamal yıkamalarında kullanılabileceği, yıkama işlemlerinde hem deterjan hem yumuşatıcı kullanılmasının daha uygun olduğu ve havsız peştamal ürününün su emicilik ve kuruma hızı dikkate alındığında diğerlerine göre daha kullanışlı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

TENMAK Bor Araştırma Enstitüsü
