Hashimoto Tiroiditi Olan Kadınlarda Glutensiz Diyetin Tiroid Fonksiyon Değerleri Üzerine Etkisi

Öz

Kronik otoimmün tiroid hastalıkları arasında en sık görüleni Hashimoto tiroiditi (HT) olup, otoimmün tiroid bozukluklarının başında gelmektedir. Bu hastalık özellikle kadınlarda daha yaygındır; kadın-erkek oranı yaklaşık 12:1’dir. İyot alımının yeterli olduğu toplumlarda, Hashimoto tiroiditi, primer hipotiroidizmin en yaygın nedenidir. Dünya genelinde nüfusun yaklaşık % 5’inin, kronik lenfositik tiroidit olarak da bilinen bu hastalıktan etkilendiği tahmin edilmektedir. Aynı zamanda en sık görülen otoimmün hastalık olarak kabul edilmekte ve sıklıkla diğer otoimmün endokrin hastalıklarla birlikte görülmektedir. Glutensiz diyet uygulamalarının Hashimoto Tiroiditi tanısı almış kadınlarda, tiroid antikor yogunlugunu azalttıgı ve otoimmuniteyi düzenlediğine yönelik sonuclar elde edilmiştir. Amacımız beslenme müdahalelerinin tiroid fonksiyon testleri üzerindeki etkilerini derlemektir.
