Çocukluk Sosyolojisinin Özgün Sahası: Çocuklarla Nitel Araştırma

Öz

Bu çalışma çocuklarla nitel araştırmanın imkânını çocukluk sosyolojisi alanındaki farklı çocuk perspektiflerini ele almak suretiyle soruşturmakta ve çocuklarla nitel araştırmayı çocuk/çocukluk sosyolojisi sahasının inşası için en önemli araçlardan biri olarak ele almaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada evvela çocukluk sosyolojisi içindeki farklı çocuk perspektifleri ele alınmakta, daha sonra çocuklarla araştırma yapma konusunda ana akım tutumlara ve metodolojik tercihlere alternatif oluşturma iddiasını temsil eden çocuklarla nitel araştırmanın imkânı tartışmaya açılmakta ve son olarak da çocuklarla nitel araştırmada kullanılan bazı teknikler ortaya konmaktadır

Öz

This study inquiries the possibility of qualitative research with children via examining different child perspectives in the field of sociology of children, and takes qualitative research with children as one of the most important means of constructing the field of sociology of children/childhood. In this sense, the study first examines different child perspectives within the sociology of childhood, then discusses the possibility of qualitative research with children which represents the alternative to the mainstream attitudes and methodological preferences in the field of research with children, and finally puts forth some of the techniques used in qualitative research with children
