The Greek Coins of Black Sea Region at Burdur Archaeological Museum

Öz

The coin collection of Burdur Archaeological Museum includes 81 coins from Black Sea Region1. Unfortunately, we do not know where the coins were found. All the coins had been added to the collection through purchasing. The bulk of the coins in the catalogue below are from Tauric Chersonesus: Panticapeum 1 , Thrace: Byzantium 1 , Byzantium-Chalchedon 1 ; Pontus: Amaseia 2 , Amisus 61 , Cabeira 1 , Chabacta 1 , Comana 1 ; Paphlagonia: Amastris 4 and Sinope 6 . Two coins are uncertain from Bosporus on Pontus and both of them are bronze.
