Kamu Destekleri ve İşgücünün Niteliği Üzerine Girişimcilerin Görüşlerinin Değerlendirilmesi: Güney Marmara Örneği

Öz

Yeni işletme kurma süreci olarak nitelendirilen çağdaş girişimcilik anlayışı ekonomilere dinamizm kazandıran önemli bir faktördür. Dolayısıyla ekonomilerde girişimciliğin bir ölçütünü de yeni işletmeler oluşturmaktadır. Güney Marmara, sahip olduğu sosyoekonomik yapısı ile gelişim potansiyeli yüksek bir bölge olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Çanakkale ve Balıkesir İllerini kapsayan Güney Marmara Bölgesi’nde girişimciler ekonomik faaliyetlerde bulunarak ülke ekonomisine katkıda bulunmaktadırlar. Çalışmada Güney Marmara’da faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin yapısı, girişimcilerin işgücünün niteliği ve kamunun sağladığı girişimcilik destekleri ile ilgili görüşleri üzerine bir alan araştırması yürütülmüştür. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre Güney Marmara’da faaliyet gösteren girişimcilerin istihdam yaratma yönelimleri yüksek ve kamunun sağladığı desteklerden memnun oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır

Öz

Contemporary entrepreneurship concept is described as the process of creating new businesses and this is an important factor that gives economies dynamism. Therefore, entrepreneurship activites of an economy can be inferred from the existing new businesses. South Marmara Region comes fore with its socio-economical structure that has high potential of development. Entrepreneurs in the region that consists of Balıkesir and Canakkale provinces conduct entrepreneurship activities and contribute greatly to the national economy. The study aims to explore business formation, opinions of entrepreneurs about labor force characteristics and state support for entrepreneurship in South Marmara Region by conducting a field study. The study reveals that entrepreneurs in the region have high levels of employment orientation and satisfied with the support given by the state.
