The extent of informal employment is generally seen as a reflection of the form of capital accumulation that has taken a particular shape in the globalization process. While informal employment expands worldwide, it is recorded that formal employment shrinks and working conditions including social protection and other social rights get worse. Increasing inequality, precariousness and insecurity in labour markets make the policy choice of getting the balance between economic growth and social development more difficult. Therefore, it is difficult to pose that informal employment can positively contribute to social solidarity, political stability and social peace. It also destroys human dignity, equity and social justice. This study aims to analyse the reasons and forms of the informal employment and its economic, social and political effects for the labour force
