Bibliometric Analysis of the Global Social Structure of Cultural Heritage-Focused Scientific Studies in Recreation Areas (1991-2024)
Öz
This study aimed to uncover the global social structure (1991-2024) of scientific studies focusing on recreational areas and "recreational cultural heritage" For this purpose, 267 scientific articles were obtained by filtering the WoS database for research articles within the relevant scientific components. In the "Scientific mapping analysis" based on the largest scientific network and density maps associated with the validation tables obtained by testing Fast 5000 and BibTex data files downloaded from the WoS database, the following were determined: In the author analysis by co-author, Fagerholm, N., ranked first in terms of article, scientific collaboration, and total link strength, while Bieling, C., ranked first in terms of citations. In the university analysis by co-author, Vrije Univ. Amsterdam and Univ. Lisbon ranked first in terms of article, citation, Vrije Univ. Amsterdam, and Univ. Lisbon in terms of scientific collaboration and total link strength. In the country analysis by co-author, the USA ranked first in terms of articles, citations, and scientific collaborations, while Germany ranked first in terms of total link strength. In light of these findings, Fagerholm, N., Bieling, C., Vrije Univ. Amsterdam, Univ. Lisbon, USA, and Germany demonstrated greater scientific productivity/impact in contributing scientific articles focused on "recreation area cultural heritage" to the international literature in terms of the number of articles, citations, scientific collaborations, and total link strength.
