Elephant Incident from the Perspective of Contemporary Poets of Jaahiliyyah

Abstract

There are some events in the history is engraved in the memory of the people. Continued vitality for a long time. The events has left at memory of societies some different traces and moved various interpretations to the next generation's .So the elephant incident is one of the im portant events that took place in the Arabia n Peninsula. The effects of time and after the event occurred1 the masters the of promise has moved to the agenda. Although it is extremely , terse manner has been told of the elephant incident in the Qoran they transferred the events from their perspectives. Especially it is very important to show the reflection of the culture and the perception of jahiliyya.

Öz

Milletierin tarihinde bazı hadiseler sebep ve sonuçları itibariyle toplumun belleğine kazınmış ve canlılığını uzun süre devam ettirmiştir. Olayın bıraktığı iz fert ve toplum bazında farklı yansımalar yaparak1 çeşitli yorumlarla bir sonraki nesillere taşınmıştır. Fil hadisesi de bu anlamda Arap Yarımadasında vuku bulan önemli olaylardan biridir. Olayın meydana geldiği zaman dilimi ve sonrasındaki etkileri, dönemin söz ustalarının dilinde gündeme taşınmıştır. Her ne kadar fıl hadisesi K. Kerimde son derece veciz bir biçimde anlatılmış olsa dahi biz olayın görgü şahitlerinin duygu ve düşüncelerini kendi perspektiflerinden aktarışlarını 1 özellikle de cahiliye kültür ve algısının yansımasını göstermesi bakımından anlamaya değer bulduk. Bizzat olaya işaret eden beyitleri edebi yönden ve aynı zamanda şairinin ruh dünyasına etkisi açısından anlamaya çalışarak birnebze de olsa1 olayı o günün gözüyle aktarmış olduk.
