Abstract
Kelam-ı kibar usually named epigram taday is an statement used for Jocanic expressian
which is known by who has recited and !ncludes experiences and convictions getting after
worthless events having been experienced and negative situations having been up against.
İn this work it has studied on a treatise whiciı includes kelam-ı kibar belonging to Ahmed
İl mi Efendi from The Tulip Era poets. As far as we have understood from treatise's title, this
treatise having been reading during halva conversatioıis having been had an important part
in entertainment world of ancient society life, takes part in a periodicai with 635 sheets
whlch was prepared in order to introduce Sultan Ahmed III ve Damad İbrahim Pasha and
included poems having been versified by a lot ot poeto; with variety kind of verses and
reading for variety aims. İt has brought up that studies on periodicals are important and
necessary because this treatise which has not been mentioned in the sources takes part in
a periodical.
