Domates Bitkisinde Hastalık Oluşturan Pospiviroid Cinsi Viroidler

Öz

Viroidler bitki yetiştiriciliğinde görülen önemli enfeksiyöz hastalık patojenleridir. Doğada hem yabani hem de kültür formundaki tek yıllıklar, çok yıllıklar, süs bitkileri ve yabancı otları kapsayan geniş bir konukçu dizisine sahiptirler. Moleküler terimle viroidler dairesel, tek zincirli ve çıplak RNA’lar formundaki organizmalar olarak bilinmektedir. Ayrıca bu etmenler protein kodlama kapasitesine sahip değildir. Viroidler hücrelerde yerleştikleri bölgeler, replikasyon şekilleri ve genom yapılarına göre Pospiviroidae ve Avsunviroidae olmak üzere iki familyaya ayrılmaktadır. Günümüze kadar, bu iki familyaya ait 32 viroid türünün farklı birçok konukçu bitki türünde bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu derlemede Pospiviroid cinsi etmenler kaynaklı domates viroid hastalıkları, dünyanın her tarafından domates bitkisinde bildirilen viroid hastalık raporları ve viroidlerin bazı özellikleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
