Şihabuddin es-Sivasi is an interpreter of Anatolian. He lived in Sivas . and Ayasluğ (known as Selçuk) during the autonomy of the states in Anatolia and in the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. He is one of the rationalistic interpreters of that time. His interpretations, being at least medium length, clear and rationalistic, were written like a text book. Şihabuddin es-Sivasi, influenced by Beğavi, Zemahşeri and Semerkandi, also influenced some interpreters such as Ebüssuüd, İsmail Hakkı Bursevi and Lütfullah Erzurumi. In line with the knowledge of interpretation so fair; Şihabuddin es-Sivasi in the Ottomans, as an independent interpreter; ignored reinterpretation, elucidation/haşiye, partial/selected interpretation and abstract studies. Şihabuddin es-Sivasi 's this rationalistic interpretation have some different aspacts compared with those classical ones
