In this study, it was aimed to analyze activities performed by social studies teachers in and outside of classroom for values education. The study was carried out in qualitative research method. Research data were collected using a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher with opinion of an expert. Interviews were made on a voluntary basis. Research participants were determined according to purposeful sampling and were carried out with 10 social studies teachers working in Kutahya province in 2018-2019 academic year. Research data were analyzed by subjecting them to content analysis.By analyzing the research data, it was determined that participants carried out activities for values education in and out of the classroom and that they enabled students to learn by living and doing these activities. It was determined that activities focused on values education mostly included student-centered methods and practices. In addition, it was observed that teacher-centered methods were also used from time to time. It was observed that school administrators provide necessary support to activities carried out for values education, while parents of students do not fully provide support in question. It was detected that there are some problems arising from families, media, group of friends and teachers in activities carried out for values education.
