Teolojik Nihilizm Problemi ve Fenomenolojik Bir Karşı Hamle: Jean-Luc Marion’da Nihilizmin Onto-Teoloji Eleştirisi ile Aşılması

Bu makale, çağdaş nihilizm tartışmalarına Jean-Luc Marion’un (d. 1946) doygun fenomen kavramı çerçevesinde bir bakış sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Marion’un din felsefesi, Tanrı’yı bir varlık olarak kavramsallaştıran onto-teoloji eleştirisi, vahyi bir veriliş olarak tanımlaması, nihilizmi askıya alma aracı olarak başvurduğu doygun fenomen kavramı etrafında şekillenir. Marion’un ortaya koyduğu fenomenolojik tutum, nihilizmin ontolojik, epistemolojik ve teolojik biçimlerini askıya alır niteliktedir. Biz de bu çalışmada, Marion’un onto-teoloji eleştirisi, idol-ikon ayrımı, doygun fenomen ve veriliş olarak vahiy kavramları çerçevesinde inşa ettiği düşüncesinin nihilizmi aşma konusundaki başarısını analiz etmeyi hedeflemekteyiz. Ona göre kavamsal Tanrı’nın reddedildiği bir aşkınlık ve anlam arayışı nihilizmle sonuçlanmaz. Aksine nihilizm tam da onto-teolojik iddiaların kesinlik iddiasında olan tavrının sonucudur. Bizi nihilizmle karşı karşıya bırakacak olan, onto-teolojik geleneğin ürettiği ve ölümü kaçınılmaz olan metafizik Tanrı fikridir. Böyle bir Tanrı’nın ölümü ise bizi bir nihilizmle karşı karşıya bırakmaz. Aksine felsefi Tanrı’nın ölümü, ilahî Tanrı fikrinin yeniden gün yüzüne çıkması için bir fırsat sunar.

This article aims to offer an overview of contemporary nihilism debates within the framework of Jean-Luc Marion's (b. 1946) concept of the saturated phenomenon. Marion's philosophy of religion is shaped around her critique of onto-theology, which conceptualizes God as an entity, her definition of revelation as a given, and her concept of the saturated phenomenon, which she employs as a means of suspending nihilism. Marion's phenomenological approach suspends the ontological, epistemological, and theological forms of nihilism. In this study, we aim to analyze Marion's success in overcoming nihilism through her thought, constructed within the framework of her critique of onto-theology, the idol-icon distinction, and the concepts of saturated phenomenon and revelation as given. According to him, a search for transcendence and meaning that rejects the conceptual God does not result in nihilism. On the contrary, nihilism is precisely the consequence of the onto-theological claims that assert certainty. It is the metaphysical idea of God, produced by the onto-theological tradition and whose death is inevitable, that will confront us with nihilism. The death of such a God does not confront us with nihilism. On the contrary, the death of the philosophical God offers an opportunity for the idea of the divine God to resurface.
