IBRAHIM b. MUHAMMED el-YALVACI AND HIS WORK “RISALE fi IHBAR bi-ELLEZI”

İbrahim b.
Muhammed el-Yalvacî (d. 1876) was born in Yalvac and handled with science over
many years. Because of the Pamphlet (Risale fî ihbâr bi-ellezî) that was
written in his 29 age he was called “Ihbar bi-Ellezî”. One of madrasahs which
in he worked is Suleymaniye Madrasah. He became judge/governor (mevleviyet) of
Sofia and scholar for Sultans.
Risale
fî ihbâr bi-ellezî
includes the topic of recreation of the sentence for stressing any part of
first sentence (no recreated) with ellezî which is the main preposition of
relative pronouns and relative adjective, and elif lâm which is definite
article (Harf-i tarif). With its examples, systematic explanation style and
comprehensive this pamphlet stands in the forefront.
