Midede kitle etkisi yaratan Hodgkin lenfoma relapsı: Olgu sunumu

Öz

Lenfomalar, lenfoid doku ve organlardan köken alan hematolojik malign hastalıklardır. Lenforetiküler hücreler özellikle lenf bezlerinde bulunur, bu nedenle çoğu kez lenf bezlerinin tümöral büyümesi önde gelen klinik semptomu oluşturur. Tüm lenfomaların yaklaşık %60’ını Hodgkin dışı, %40’ını Hodgkin lenfoma oluşturmaktadır. Hodgkin lenfoma klinik olarak boyun, koltuk altı veya kasıkta şişmiş ağrısız lenf nodları, nedeni belirsiz kilo kaybı, ateş, halsizlik, yorgunluk, gece terlemeleri, kaşıntı, öksürük, solunum zorluğu veya göğüs ağrısı ile ortaya çıkar. Hodgkin lenfomada gastrointestinal sistemin organlarının tutulumu son derece nadirdir, ancak gastrointestinal sistem tutulumu olursa genellikle tek bir bölge etkilenir ve hastanın prognozu kötüdür. Bu makalede relapsında, çok nadir görülen mide tutulumuyla kendini gösteren Hodgkin lenfomalı bir çocuk olgu sunulmuş ve literatür bilgileri eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

HODGKIN LYMPHOMA RELAPSE CREATING MASS EFFECT ON STOMACH: CASE REPORT

Öz

Lymphomas are hematological malignant diseases originating from lymphoid tissues and organs. Lymphoreticular cells are found especially in the lymph nodes, so often the tumoral enlargement of the lymph nodes is the leading clinical symptom. Approximately 60% of all lymphomas are non-Hodgkin and 40% are Hodgkin lymphoma. Hodgkin lymphoma is clinically manifested by painless lymph nodes swollen in the neck, armpit, or groin, with unexplained weight loss, fever, weakness, fatigue, night sweats, itching, cough, difficulty breathing, or chest pain. Involvement of gastrointestinal tract organs is extremely rare in Hodgkin lymphoma, but if gastrointestinal system involvement occurs, generally, one site is affected and the patient's prognosis is poor. In this article, a child with Hodgkin lymphoma presenting in relapse with very rare gastric involvement is presented and discussed in the light of the literature.
