Prophylactic Antibiotics Use In Obstetrics And Gynecology

Yıl 2017, Cilt: 31 Sayı: 2, 103 - 111, 23.08.2017

Öz

Major and minor surgical procedures are commonly performed applications in obstetrics and gynecology practice. Today, conventional surgical methods tend to evolve towards less invasive methods. Laparoscopic and robotic methods replace surgeries performed with open incisional methods, patient-friendly approaches have come to the fore. Obstetric and particularly gynecological procedures develop in this direction; the importance of minimally invasive, evidence-based medicine applications and patient-friendly treatments increase. As in all areas of surgery; asepsis and antisepsis rules as well, prophylactic use of antibiotics are important practices that reduce   morbidity and mortality in patients with obstetric and gynecological procedures. In this review, in the light of current knowledge the use of prophylactic antibiotics, in terms of evidence-based medical practices in obstetric and gynecologic surgery was examined.

Obstetrik ve jinekolojide profilaktik antibiyotik kullanımı

Obstetrik ve jinekoloji pratiğinde major ve minör
cerrahi prosedürler yaygın yapılan uygulamalardır. Günümüzde konvansiyonel
cerrahi yöntemler daha az invaziv yöntemlere doğru evrilme eğilimindedir.
Açık insizyonel yöntemlerle yapılan cerrahilerin yerini laparoskopik ve
robotik yöntemler almakta, hasta dostu yaklaşımlar ön plana çıkmaktadır. Obstetrik
