(THREE DIMENTIONAL FRAMEWORK IN GRAMMAR TE- ACHING: A PROPOSAL FOR DEVELOPING AND USING GRAMMAR TEACHING MATERIALS)

Öz

This article offers ways to teach Turkish grammar consistent with modern linguistic studies on Turkish and contemporary theory in the field of Second Language Acquisition. The article aims to show that in teaching Turkish as a second / foreign language we need to focus on a grammar point within a meaning-based approach and to design grammar teaching materials based on inductive consciousness-raising activities where learners’ awareness is raised towards how a Turkish grammatical structure works in real discourse

Öz

Bu makalede, dilbilgisi yapılarının öğretiminde Dilbilim bulgularından ve İkinci Dil Edinimi alanındaki çağdaş yaklaşımlardan yararlanarak Türkçe dilbilgisinin yabancılara öğretimi konusunda öneriler geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktayız. Makaledeki temel önerimiz, ders malzemesi hazırlayanların ya da öğretmenlerin Türkçe dilbilgisini yabancılara öğretirken anlam odaklı bir yaklaşımdan yola çıkmaları ve ders malzemesini, sınıfta, öğrenicilerin Türkçedeki bir dilbilgisi yapısının işleyişine ilişkin farkındalık geliştirmeleri sağlayacak tümevarımlı bilinçlendirme çalışmaları ile desteklemeleridir
