Symposium of the Truth: Encountering With Beauty and Inceptional Destruction

Kalos logoi. It is beautiful that just the beautiful words can describe. These words those opened a place for momentary radiance of beauty may be the praise of its unique apperance and also may be a gift bestowed upon anybody by it. But this kind of unique, mysterious and terrible encountering with beauty is the truth of existence. This truth is quite long forgotten, have been lost and it was left off in our present world that surrounded by modern cities, crowds, technology and science. All of these, here, as well as more important that beauty’s reducing only to aesthetic pleasure. But the truth in its authentic sense is desired by praise and bestowed by love. It must sought in the zeus’ seduction in the face of the beauty of Nemesis and here in the emergence of the ontological necessity of rape and violence. True sense of the beauty was hidden in the praise of Helen and in the Plato’s magnificent dialogues as especially Phaedrus and Symposium. In the modern world calls us to a new beginning to remind it again possibly is Heidegger’s interpretation of truth as aletheia. This calls us to the Ancient Greeks’ Gloria Dei that means God’s nobility, grandeur and to be open to encounter its illuminating sacred and the bestowal of light. So, what is the necessity of this encounter? This kind of necessity is so ruthless power, ananke as possibility that all boundaries and relationships. This power gives to the limited existence the uniqueness of that appearance. Thus, in encountering the beauty, reason, understanding, perception and therefore as the existence of any type or way has its limits and confronts with the aletheic terror of the truth. This confrontation destroyed the existing board layout at a time that is a precursor of a new beginning. Therefore, the enthusiasm of the encounter with beauty as a place of the truth symposium is at the same time new and it is the beginning of the bizarre or strange. Then the beginning is the terror and its terror illuminates as beauty. This study aims to discuss beauty and its profound relationship between the truth as aletheia by combining them in the vaguest place of the beginning as terror

Kalos logoi. Güzeli ancak güzel sözler anlatabilir. Güzelin anlık görünüşü için yer açan bu sözler onun eşsiz görüntüsünün övgüsü ve onun tarafından bahşedilen bir armağan olabilir. Ancak güzelle bu eşsiz, ürkünç ve gizemli karşılaşma modern kentlerin, kalabalıkların, bilimin ve teknolojinin kuşattığı, güzelin yalnızca estetik beğeniye indirgendiği dünyamızdan oldukça uzaklarda bırakılmış, unutulup yitirilmiş bir hakikattir. Bu hakikat, övgüyle arzulanan ve sevgide lütfedilendir. zeus’un Nemesis’in güzelliğiyle baştan çıkması, ihlal ya da tecavüzün zorunluluğunda aranmalıdır. O, Helen’in güzelliğine övgüde, Platon’un özellikle Phaedrus ve Şölen gibi muhteşem diyaloglarında saklı kalmıştır. Modern dünyada bize bunu yeniden anımsatacak yeni başlangıçlara çağıran ise Heidegger’in aletheia yorumu dur. Bu, Antik Yunan’ın Gloria Dei, Tanrı’nın asaleti, ihtişamı, aydınlatan kutsaması ve bahşeden ışığıyla karşılaşmaya açık olmaya çağrıdır. Peki, bu karşılaşmanın zorunluluğu nedir? Bu zorunluluk, ananke yani tüm sınır ve ilişkilerin olanaklılığı olan amansız güçtür. Bu güç sınırlı varoluşa, görünüşe gelenin eşsizliğini verir. Bu yüzleşme mevcutların kurulu düzenini bir anda yerle bir eden yeni başlangıcın habercisidir. Bu nedenle güzelle karşılaşmanın coşkusu, yaşantısı, şölen yeri aynı zamanda yeni, yabancı, tuhaf ya da garip olanın başlangıcıdır. Başlangıç terördür ve başlangıcın terörü güzel olarak ışığa kavuşur. Bu çalışma güzel ve başlangıcın terörü arasındaki derin ilişkiyi aletheia olarak hakikatin birleştiren ve ayıran coşkusu ve hüznünde tartışacaktır
