THE SITUATION OF BLANKET INDUSTRY IN TURKIYE AND BLANKET PRODUCTION METODS

Öz

In this study is done a research about situation in blanket industry. Especially there is observed its growth between

1998-2004 years .In spite of so little researches in blanket area there is worked to determine the situation in our

country. The data of Government Statistical Institutions are wanted especially and blanket companies in Ushak are

visited and there were done observation. The most of blanket production capacity is established in Ushak but there

is using only 14 % of theirs potential for export. On the other hand in this study is mentioned blanket production

process with their main contour. There is some difference in blanket producing process due to raw material. In

conclusion there were given some suggestions how to use more productively the established capacity for export.
