INVESTIGATION OF WEAR BEHAVIOUR OF BORON CONCUSSOR JAWS WELDED BY USING DIFFERENT TYPES OF ELECTRODES
Öz
In this study, Samples of concussor jaws were welded using different types of hard electrodes. These welded parts were subjected to wear test under different loads, and changes in the hardness and microstructures were examined. A pin-on-disc wear test apparatus was used. It is found that wear resistance decreased as the load and the distance were increased. The wear resistance also varied according to hardness.
