Öz

Bu çalışmada BRICS ülkeleri ve Türkiye’de yüksek
teknoloji ihracatının ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkileri incelenmektedir. Bu
kapsamda çalışmada 2005-2014 yıllarını kapsayan 10 yıllık panel veriler, panel
veri ekonometrik teknikleri yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Ekonometrik yöntem
olarak ise Panel Sabit Etkiler ve Panel Rassal Etkiler modelleri tercih
edilmiştir. Çalışmanın çıktılarında her iki tahmin yönteminin ortak sonucu
olarak ileri teknoloji ihracatındaki artışların BRICS ülkeleri ve Türkiye’de
ekonomik büyümeyi arttırıcı etkisinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar
BRICS ülkeleri ve Türkiye’de sürdürülebilir bir ekonomik büyüme için yüksek
katma değerli üretime ihtiyaç olduğunu açıkça göstermektedir.

PANEL DATA ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIGH-TECHNOLOGY EXPORT AND ECONOMIC GROWTH FOR BRICS COUNTRIES AND TURKEY

Öz

In this paper, it
is investigated that the effect of the high- technology export on the economic
growth for BRICS countries and Turkey. Within this framework, 10 years annual
datas for the period 2005 – 2014 is analysed by using panel data techniques.
Panel Fix Effect and Panel Random Effect models are prefered as econometrics
model. The results of both models show that high- technology export is
significantly positive effect on the economic growth for BRICS countries and
Turkey. These results clearly show that there is need production with high
added value for sustainable economic growth in BRICS countries and Turkey.
