Dijitalleşme, Özümseme Kapasitesi, Tedarik Zinciri Çevikliği ve Tedarik Zinciri Performansı Üzerine Kavramsal Bir Çalışma

Öz

Teknolojinin bir getirisi olan değişime ayak uydurmak ve karşılaşılan problemlere hızlı yanıt verebilmek tedarik zinciri için her geçen gün zorlayıcı bir süreç haline gelmektedir. Tedarik zincirinde karşılaşılan sorun ve aksaklıklara karşı hızlı yanıt verilebilmesinde dijitalleşme, gerçek zamanlı veri sağlamasıyla oldukça önemli bir hale gelmektedir. Ancak tüm bunların tedarik zinciri tarafından ne ölçüde özümsendiği ve tedarik zinciri performansına nasıl etki ettiği merak konusu haline gelmiştir. Bu yüzden tedarik zinciri çevikliği ve dijitalleşme literatürde yoğun ilgi gören bir konu olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Kavramsal olarak dijitalleşmenin tedarik zinciri çevikliğini ve özümseme kapasitesini artırarak olumlu yönde etkilediği ve böylece tedarik zinciri performansının artacağı öne sürülmektedir. Ancak bu ilişkileri etkileyen faktörlerden bazıları literatürde birbirinden bağımsız olarak incelenmiş olmasına rağmen bir arada henüz çalışılmamışlardır. Bu ihtiyacı gidermek ve literatürdeki boşluğu doldurmak için, çalışmanın amacı dijitalleşme, özümseme kapasitesi, tedarik zinciri çevikliği, tedarik zinciri performansı arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. Böylece bu çalışmanın kuramsal olarak özgün olmasıyla literatürdeki önemli bir boşluğu kapatacağı öngörülmektedir. Dijitalleşme, özümseme kapasitesi, tedarik zinciri çevikliği, tedarik zinciri performansı arasındaki ilişkiler ile bu ilişkilerde etkili faktörler ortaya konarak bilimsel literatüre katkıda bulunulacak ve elde edilecek bulgular gelecek çalışmalara ışık tutacaktır.

A Conceptual Study on Digitalization, Absorptive Capacity, Supply Chain Agility and Supply Chain Performance

Öz

Keeping up with the changes brought by technology and responding quickly to the problems encountered is becoming a challenging process for the supply chain each day. Digitalization is becoming very important in responding quickly to the problems and disruptions encountered in the supply chain by providing real-time data. However, the extent to which all these are absorbed by the supply chain and how they affect supply chain performance has become a matter of curiosity. For this reason, supply chain agility and digitalization stand out as a topic of intense interest in the literature. Conceptually, it is argued that digitalization positively affects supply chain agility and absorptive capacity, thereby increasing supply chain performance. However, some of the factors affecting these relationships have been examined independently in the literature but have not yet been studied together. To address this need and fill the gap in the literature, this study aims to examine the relationships between digitalization, absorptive capacity, supply chain agility, and supply chain performance. Thus, it is predicted that this study will fill an important gap in the literature by being theoretically original. It will contribute to the scientific literature by revealing the relationships between digitalization, absorptive capacity, supply chain agility, supply chain performance and the effective factors in these relationships and the findings will shed light on future studies.
