SPORA BAĞLILIK VE AHLAKİ ZEKA ETKİLEŞİMİ

Öz

Bu araştırmada spora bağlılığın ahlaki zekâ üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya basketbol, futbol, taekwondo, tenis, voleybol ve yüzme branşlarında aktif sporculuk yapan 189 kadın, 180 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 369 sporcu katılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında demografik bilgi formunun yanı sıra Spora Bağlılık ve Yakut-Ahlaki Zekâ ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ölçeklerine yönelik doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır. Betimleyici istatistik, ilişkisel model kapsamında Pearson korelasyon ve çoklu regresyon analizleri kullanımıştır. Araştırmanın korelasyon analizi bulgularına göre spora bağlılık ile ahlaki zekâ arasında her iki ölçeğin tüm alt boyutlarında pozitif ve düşük düzeyli bir korelasyon saptanmıştır.Çoklu regresyon analizi bulguları ise spora bağlılığı oluşturan odaklanmanın, ahlaki zekânın alt boyutu olan vicdan ve nezaket; spora bağlılığı oluşturan diğer bir alt boyut olan dinç olmanın ise ahlaki zekânın alt boyutu olan öz denetim üzerinde pozitif katkıları olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Araştırma bulguları, bireylerin spora bağlılık gösterdikçe, ahlaki zekâlarının da gelişeceğine işaret etmektedir.

Interaction of Sport Commitment and Moral Intelligence

Öz

This study aims to investigate the effect of sport commitment on moral intelligence. The study group comprised of 369 active athletes (189 female, 180 male) competing in basketball, football, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, and swimming disciplines. Research data were collected via the Sport Commitment Scale and Yakut-Moral Intelligence Scale, accompanied by a demographic information form. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted to verify the validity of the scales. Within the scope of the relational survey model, data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression methods. Correlation analysis revealed positive but weak relationships between sport commitment and moral intelligence across all subdimensions of both scales. The regression analysis results demonstrated that focus, a component of sport commitment, positively predicted conscience and kindness, whereas vigor, another component of sport commitment, positively predicted self-control. The findings indicate that as individuals demonstrate higher levels of commitment to sports, their moral intelligence develops concurrently.
