Reproductive Physiology in Female Rats

The detailed knowledge of reproductive physiology in female rats is important to set up a good model for the study of reproductive system diseases. Rats, on average, entered puberty at four weeks, followed by 4-5 days of oestrus, and it lasts to 10-12th month. With this review, the events that occurred in the reproductive systems from the birth to the term that lost their reproductive ability were tried to be explained in detail. In addition, information about ovarium cells and their secretions are given. The correct establishment of the hypothesis of studies on the reproductive system is possible if the reproductive physiology of female rats is well known.

Dişi Ratlarda Üreme Fizyolojisi

Öz

Dişi ratlarda üreme fizyolojisinin detaylıca bilinmesi, üreme sistemi hastalıklarının çalışılması için iyi bir model oluşturmak açısından önemlidir. Ratlar, ortalama olarak 4 haftalıkken pubertaya girer ve 4-5 gün kadar sürecek olan östrus başlar ve 10-12. aya kadar devam eder. Hazırlanan bu derleme ile dişi ratların doğumdan üreme yeteneklerini kaybettikleri döneme kadar üreme sistemlerinde gelişen olaylar detaylıca anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca ovaryumda bulunan hücreler ile bu hücrelerin salgıları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üreme sistemi ile ilgili yapılacak çalışmaların hipotezlerinin doğru kurulabilmesi, dişi ratların üreme fizyolojilerinin iyi bilinmesi ile mümkündür.
