In this study, whether the number of siblings, age and gender affect the language development of 4-5 year-old children who don’t benefit from pre-school education. The general spectrum of the study is 4-5 year-old children who don’t attend preschool education facilities in Meram, Selçuklu and Karatay districts in Konya. 100 children on per districts were taken into the study which equals to 300 children totally. In order to determine the characterictics of children and their families in the study, personal data form is used, “Limbosh and Wolf’s Language Test and Refia Uğurel-Şemin’s Completion Item” is used to measure language skills and vocabulary of children. The scores children received from “Limbosh and Wolf’s Language Test and Refia Uğurel-Şemin’s Completion Item” analyses were evaluated by SPSS 12.0 packet program. The factors number of siblings and age found to be effective for 4-5 year-old children who don’t benefit from pre-school education facilities. It is also found that the gender factor is not effective.
