The Feature of Proverbs on Human Body and Its Organs in Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk (Compendium of the languages of the Turks)

Proverb
is one of the important consisting part of Uyghur oral literature, therefore,
it contains high educational value and widely used in the past, it is being
transmitted orally and deeply rooted among the people. In this paper, I try to
discuss about the feature of some proverbs in our social life which contain
some of the human body and its organs.
