EGE ÜNİVERSİTESİ TIP FAKÜLTESİ HASTANESİ ÇALIŞANLARININ COVİD-19 VE KORUYUCU ÖNLEMLER HAKKINDA BİLGİ TUTUM VE DAVRANIŞLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

AMAÇ: Bu çalışmanın amacı COVID-19 pandemisiyle aktif mücadelenin devam ettiği bir dönemde, Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi’nde görev yapmakta olan sağlık çalışanlarının COVİD-19 hastalığı ve korunma önlemleri konusunda bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarını değerlendirmektir.
GEREÇ ve YÖNTEM: Kesitsel tipte olan bu araştırmaya 18 ile 63 yaş arası 438 sağlık çalışanı katılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ve dört bölümden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formu sağlık çalışanlarına Google form üzerinden mail yolu ile ulaştırılmıştır. Anket verileri 03 Mart 2021-31 Mart 2021 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 25.0 programında çözümlenmiştir. Anlamlılık düzeyi olarak p<0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir.
BULGULAR: Sağlık personelinin %6,2’i COVİD-19 ve koruyucu önlemler hakkında eğitim almadığını, %6,8’i COVİD-19 aşısı olmadığını ve %10,3’ü COVİD-19 enfeksiyonunu geçirdiğini ifade etmiştir. Katılımcıların bilgi, tutum ve davranış yüzdelik puan ortalamaları sırasıyla %93,7, %85,4, %88,8’dir. Kadınların, evli ve çocuk sahibi olanların, ileri yaştaki çalışanların koruyucu davranışlarının daha olumlu olduğu anlaşılmıştır. COVİD-19 hakkında hiç bilgi almayanların korunma hakkında tutum ve davranış puanları istatistiksel anlamlı daha düşük bulunmuştur.
SONUÇ: Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi hastanesinde görev yapmakta olan sağlık çalışanları yüksek düzeyde COVID-19 bilgisine sahip olmakla birlikte koruyucu önlemler hakkında da olumlu tutum ve davranış göstermektedirler. Bazı koruyucu davranışlardaki hatalı yaklaşımlarının düzeltilmesi için eğitimler düzenlenmesi önerilir.

EVALUATİON OF THE KNOWLEDGE, ATTİTUDE AND BEHAVİOR OF EGE UNİVERSİTY MEDİCAL FACULTY HOSPİTAL EMPLOYEES ABOUT COVID-19 AND PROTECTİVE MEASURES

Öz

OBJECTİVE: The aim of this study is to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of healthcare Employees working at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital about COVID-19 disease and prevention measures, in a period in which the active fight against the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: 438 healthcare workers between the ages of 18 and 63 participated in this cross-sectional study. A questionnaire form developed by the researchers and consisting of four parts was used as the data collection tool in the study. The questionnaire was sent to healthcare Employees via email via Google form. Survey data were collected between March 03, 2021 and March 31, 2021. The data were analyzed in SPSS 25.0 program. The significance level was accepted as p <0.05.
RESULTS: 6.2% of the healthcare workers stated that they did not receive training on COVID-19 and protective measures, 6.8% stated that they did not have the COVID-19 vaccine and 10.3% had COVID-19 infection. Participants' knowledge, attitudes and behaviors mean percentage points, respectively, 93.7%, 85.4%, and 88.8%. It has been found that the protective behaviors of women, those who are married and have children, and older workers are more positive. The attitude and behavior scores about protection were found to be statistically significantly lower in those who did not receive any information about COVID-19.
CONCLUSION: According to the findings, healthcare Employees working at Ege University Faculty of Medicine hospital have a high level of COVID-19 knowledge, but also show positive attitudes and behaviors about preventive measures. It is recommended to organize trainings to correct the wrong approaches in some protective behavior.
