İnme Hastalarında Aktivite Performansı, Boş Zaman ve Toplumsal Katılım Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, inme geçirmiş bireylerde aktivite performansı, boş zaman memnuniyeti ve sosyal katılım düzeylerini incelemek ve aralarındaki ilişkileri değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya, inme geçirmiş, bağımsız yürüyebilen, Mini Mental Durum Testi'nden ≥24 puan alan ve gönüllü 18 yaş üstü bireyler dahil edildi. Katılımcıların demografik bilgileri kaydedildi. Aktivite performansı ve memnuniyeti Kanada Aktivite Performans Ölçeği ile, boş zaman memnuniyeti Serbest Zaman Tatmin Ölçeği (SZTÖ) ile ve sosyal katılım 12 maddelik Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yetiyitimi Değerlendirme Çizelgesi II (WHODAS-II-12) ile değerlendirildi. Ölçüm sonuçları arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek için Pearson Korelasyon Testi kullanıldı. Sonuçlar: Çalışmaya 46 inme hastası dahil edildi. Aktivite performansı ve memnuniyet puanları arasında anlamlı pozitif korelasyon bulundu. Aktivite performansı; SZTÖ'nin psikolojik, rahatlama, fizyolojik ve estetik alt boyutlarıyla ilişkiliyken, memnuniyet puanı psikolojik, eğitim, sosyal, rahatlama ve estetik boyutlarla anlamlı şekilde ilişkilendirildi (p<0.05). WHODAS-II-12 ile diğer parametreler arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadı (p>0.05). Tartışma: Bu çalışma, inme hastalarında boş zaman aktivitelerinin değerlendirilmesinin rehabilitasyon planlamasında önemli olduğunu vurgulamaktadır. Anlamlı aktivitelere katılım, boş zaman memnuniyetini artırarak bütüncül bir rehabilitasyon yaklaşımını desteklemektedir

Investigation of Activity Performance, Leisure and Community Participation Levels in Stroke Patients

Öz

Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate activity performance, leisure satisfaction, and social participation levels in stroke patients and to evaluate their interrelationships. Material and Methods: Individuals over 18 years old who had experienced a stroke, were able to walk independently, scored ≥24 on the Mini-Mental State Examination, and volunteered to participate were included. The demographic information of the patients was recorded. Patients' activity performance and satisfaction were measured with the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure, leisure satisfaction with the Leisure Satisfaction Scale (LSS), and social participation with the 12-item World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule II (WHODAS-II-12). Pearson Correlation Test was used to examine whether the assessment results of individuals were related to each other. Results: This study included 46 stroke patients. A significant positive correlation was found between activity performance and satisfaction scores. Activity performance was associated with psychological, relaxation, physiological, and aesthetic sub-dimensions of the LSS, while satisfaction was linked to psychological, education, social, relaxation, and aesthetic dimensions (p<0.05). No significant correlation was found between WHODAS-II-12 and other parameters (p>0.05). Conclusion: This study highlights that assessing leisure activities in stroke patients is important for rehabilitation planning. Engaging in meaningful activities can boost leisure satisfaction, supporting a holistic approach.
